Tokio Hotel Release “Humanoid”

 German glam rock group, Tokio Hotel, is releasing their second English studio album (third German album), Humanoid, todayhumanoid tokio hotel. The first single “Automatic” came out last month and fans seem to really like it.
I will confess to not knowing a lot about this band but I can see their appeal. They are pretty unique and it took me a while to realize that lead singer Bill Kaulitz and guitarist Tom Kaulitz are actually twins. I knew they were brothers but they have such different styles which, in itself, is pretty cool. So many twins try to capitalize on their similarity which I often find annoying when people are older than 10 years old.
The preview I heard is pretty decent, to be honest. It’s glam rock, of course, and many times I felt like I was listening to something from the late 80s/early 90s. It sounds like they might have sampled a bit from “Personal Jesus” on their track “Human Connect to Human” but I wasn’t able to find anything to confirm that.

| This album is awesome! I've been listening to it non-stop since I got it. I really enjoy every song on it and probably will never get tired of any of the songs. I hope a massive amount of people discover this band and fall in love. Btw, I agree with the Personal Jesus thing, I totally hear the similarities.
Also, the album didn't come out last month. It came out Oct. 6th for the US and Oct. 2nd for Germany.  | | 09-10-2009 05:42 Quill |

| It was a long wait for this album, but Humanoid is super fun album! And it actually just came out here in the States 2 days ago. I've been listening to very little of anything else... the album has songs for pretty much any mood that I'm in so I hop around the album to enjoy all the songs.
