| hey demonwarrior do you even know why IRA was formed???? No you dont, well let me tell you this everyone in this world should have the right to be free and independent. Im not Irish but i think these people are amazin for defending their rights (basic human rights they ones you enjoy everyday without even thinking how your life would be if you didnt have them). Sunday bloody sunday both the song and the movie will give you an idea.

I LOVE this song. It's so beautiful and simple.
Just on the whole U2 are terrorists thing, what a pile of crap. I'm Irish, and I find it offensive that people would consider saying that U2 support an illegal terrorist group, hell bent on spreading trouple for the people of Northern Ireland. Most of the people here don't even want any violence.
Anyway Bono quite blatantly declares his distaste for the IRA and general violence in Ireland with this rant (taken from the film "Rattle and Hum")
"I'm sick of Irish Americans, who haven't been home in twenty or thirty years, come up to me and tell me about the glory of the revolution. The glory of dying for the revolution. Fuck the revolution. Where's the glory in dragging a man from his bed and gunning him down in front of his wife and children? Where's the glory in that? Where's the glory in bombing old age pensioners as part of a remembrance day parade, their medals polished up for the day? Where's the glory in that?"
