New album in March 2009

At last ! U2's new album is coming soon... No Line On The Horizon is scheduled for March 2, 2009. This album will be the follow-up of How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb, released in 2004, & maybe "extraordinary", according to Jimmy Iovine, from the label Interscope Records.

U2, the Irish rock band led by singer Bono, will release their new album 5 years after How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb (9 million copies sold everywhere in the world), named No Line On The Horizon, on March 2, 2009 in Europe & on March 3 in the United States. Written & recorded in the 4 corners of the world, this will be the band's twelfth studio album.

The album, recorded in Fez, Morocco, then in Dublin, in the Irish band's studio, in New York & in London, would be "extraordinary", according to Jimmy Iovine, from the label Interscope Records. Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois & Steve Lillywhite, the rock band's long-time friends, have participated to it.

Also, the band's singer, Bono, has been crowned "Man of Peace 2008" for his involvment against poverty, illness & debts in Africa.
