As the final notes ring out on LOST IN THE SOUND OF SEPARATION, it's evident that the six men of Tampa, FL-based UNDEROATH--who've built their career on being both heavy and experimental--have delivered their most ambitious and accomplished disc to date. Succinct and resolute, there's little denying that the 43-minute, 11-track follow-up to 2006's rapturously received and gold-certified Define The Great Line is a hard music masterpiece. UNDEROATH–whose last three albums count combined sales in...

@ Ø (Disambiguation)

It's hands down one of the best albums of the year for rock/metal music. The band just overcame the departure of their last founding member, and the album sounds just like if they don't miss him at all. Each one of the members has matured a lot since the last record, and the sound the album gets is really raw but it's also very direct. Lyrically I love the album, the whole record has amazing lyrics and they are sung by one of the greatest screamers (who also proved he can sing, and greatly) Spencer Chamberlain, who does a magnificent job on every song, becoming the main highlight of the whole record.
You'll love it from beginning to end it you're a fan of the last 4 records, if not, it will take you some time, but you'll like it for sure.

@ Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear

Even though this particular sound is very much unlike the typical Underoath most of us are used to, everything about it makes me want to just put it on repeat and listen to it over and over. Amazing song, great message.

@ I'm Content With Losing

The progressive, but still catchy feel. The hard verses, with the more melodic choruses. The fast feel, with the slower lyrics. This song is all about contrast and it's what makes it so good. The part at the end with the choral lines is absolutely FANTASTIC!! Props to Underoath for making such an amazing song!
