| Hello. I'm from Mexico, and have been a fan of AFI for several years already. Where I'm from, very few people knew AFI until "Silver and Cold" started playing on mtvla. Before this, being a fan of AFI was pretty original, however, now with these 2 latter cd's everyone that was so faithful to the group's music has jumped off the ship to let the masses of mtvers cram on it, now calling themselves "fans". I feel dissapointed, but as many are aware, the change began far back with the art of drowning, a beautiful cd but that lacked the strength of Black Sails and All Hallow's (my favs). Sing the Sorrow and now Decund are elegantly written as always, and composed with a higher melodic style than former cds in my opinion. Yet I do dream of AFI mixing their former style with the new softer one. AFI will still be of my favs, but I feel insecure wether they'll become total sellouts after Decund., or is it too late already?  | | 14-08-2006 01:19 badgirl1259 |

| I dislike AFI very much. Miss Murder is catchy and so was that other hit song they had which was in Madden one year... but I listened to part of their last CD and it was awful.
