The greatest band in existence. Seriously, I have not heard a band that compares to Dream Theater. I know of a few who come close, but they don't have the magic that Dream Theater has. I own every album of theirs and each one has something special about it. When Dream and Day Unite has that real early prog. metal feel, while Train of Thought has that heavy metal style to it, and Scenes From A Memory is just a masterpiece. I think this band has the greatest musicians ever. Their ability to improvise at any moment is unbelievable. Listen to Bombay Vindaloo and you'll see what I mean.
