Vanessa Carlton Biography
Grammy-nominated singer, Vanessa Carlton was born in a tiny town of Pennsylvania on 16th August 1980, this musician was listening to music before she was born, as her mother performed various classical pieces in the home's piano. At the age of two, Carlton and her parents went to Disney World, where she heard "It's A Small World." Eh, I don't really like that part in the middle of the song talking about her "first time" I'm sorry but it fits, yeah I get it, I get the point, but I think it's a tad going over the edge. It's such a cute song, and I love it, I LOVE it, I mean it totally is me, but that part...I don't know, it could have done with out it. And yes you don't really think about it unless you are looking at the lyrics... »

that's actually a great way to look at it, garry. and if that is what happened, then the song is even better now (i'd hike the lyrics up to a 5 if i could). only thing is that harmonium definitely came out in 2004. the end actually. i bought it like a month or less after its release. i was listening to it in the beginning of December 2004 and it took a hold on me big time. »

Vanessa got into the falsetto heavy on this album. And it works. I wasn't a fan of this album the first few times I heard it but now I'm so into it! Heroes & Thieves shines in its rhythmic area. »
