Song lyrics
Speeding into the horizon
Dreaming of the sirens
Wishing for broken glass on a highway
It could be so easy

The rhythm, rhythm of an engine
Always makes me empty
I see the headlights coming at me
I can't help but wonder

Flying, flying in slow motion
The wind through my hair
And ripping through the scenery
Oh, the wreckage
It is my secret need

(Uh, uh, uh, uh)

Speeding into the horizon
Dreaming of the sirens
Wishing for broken glass on a highway
It could be so easy

(Uh)

Wow...I never noticed that it was about that. I thought it was about people's secret need to cause a sort of commotion and how easy it could be...then again, that's somewhat of the same thing as the car crash, just a wider perspective.

Anyways, this song is beautiful, and the piano sounds excellent. Again, a sad song, but filled with expression. I love how the songs she writes are so different from what some songs are about today. Instead of being about boys or sexy dancing or how to get guys/girls, it has real meaning. Absolutely gorgeous!

i went to her concert and the her intro to it was that it was about a will to go into the other lane well driving, then joked about her driving skills (or lack of) then emphisized that she only wanted to kill cars and she respects human life

I really LOVE this song! I think its one of nessa's best! I personally think its about suicide. I think that because she says "Wishing for broken glass", and she also says "It is my secret need". I think she's thinking about commiting suicide but, she's scared what might happen if she doesn't die. I guess she would have to feel embarassed.

that's wha my friend thought it was about,

"It could be so easy" is also another suicide hint, but i think it's more a need to create collision, not death but some kind of disturbance,

Most of her songs are hard to interpret. But this one I know exactly what its about. Its about someone who wants to commite suicide, and wants to do it by intentionally getting into a car crash.

when she first starts the song she goes into detail about how she is in an accident...but in truth she repeats the first verse which makes you realize that she is day dreaming or something...

like she's at the wheel and she's wanting something of importance to happen to her,"It could be so easy" but she doens't do it..

like all of us, she has an impulse but she, like most of us, didn't act on it

i mean how many times have we thought it could be so easy?

and that's why i love this song, because it speaks of the truths of the average human...
