New video, Mi Amor
30-01-2014 23:11 | 0 comment(s)
Vanessa Paradis After having seduced the audience with "Love Song" & "Les Espaces Et Les Sentiments", Vanessa Paradis chose "Mi Amor" as the third single from Love Songs. Discover the video, shot during the artist's latest tour !

Directly N°1 in France in May 2013, Vanessa Paradis' sixth album Love Songs is still in charts since its release. It sold more than 160,000 copies. However, we're far from the sales of Divinidylle (2007), with more than 600,000 copies. On Love Songs, the songwriters are Mathieu Boogaerts for "C'Est Quoi ?", Carl Barat (on the duet "The Dark, It Comes") & François Villevieille (Éléphant) for "Les Espaces Et Les Sentiments". Produced by Benjamin Biolay, the 22-track double album talks about love, either on Caribbean or pop-rock melodies, from the well-produced "Love Song" to the more acoustic "Station Quatre-Septembre".

As the third single from Love Songs, Vanessa chose "Mi Amor", written & composed by BB Brunes singer, Adrien Gallo. The band also invited her on "Bye Bye", from the re-release of their album Long Courrier. An ideal radio single, "Mi Amor" isn't much aired but the video has been shot. Vanessa Paradis did a simple one, shot during her "Love Songs Tour". We can think of a new live release soon, unless the artist reveals other singles from her studio album...

After her concert at Paris' Casino in November 2013, Vanessa's latest tour has been the occasion to hear her new songs & also her hits "Pourtant", "Tandem" & "Dis-Lui Toi Que Je T'Aime". For the moment, no other date has been scheduled yet. Remember, 5 years ago, she did a second leg of her "Divinidylle Tour", that was successful.

On February 14, there'll be the Victoires de la Musique at Paris' Zénith. Vanessa is nominated in the category "Female Artist", along with Zaz & Nili Hadida from Lilly Wood & The Prick. She has previously won this award in 1990 & 2008. Last time she got a Victoire was in 2012, for her duet "La Seine" with Mathieu Chedid.
