| Your comments are all the same. Don't you have anything else to say? Gosh, you are one idiotic person. | 0 @ 07-06-2004 01:09 Bronwen | 47 posts
| k, if your gonna get all pissed off at me for "bagging" on melinda maybe you should stop doing the exact same thing to me. And again. I just like weezer! Deal with it.
This is definitely one of my favourite songs on this cd! | 0 @ 26-06-2004 01:32 The_Scorch | 12 posts

Best musical climax in pinkerton, possibly all weezer songs. Though im not very fond of the quiet part before this, i realize its essential to make the climax of the song even better. | 0 @ 26-06-2004 02:09 Melinda | 493 posts

Pretty good song.
I find it odd that he uses broken English at the beginning:
You are eighteen year old girl
Who live in small city in Japan
I agree with Paul about the silence part and I love the part:
So I can live on words and dreams and a million screams | 0 @ 26-06-2004 02:10 Melinda | 493 posts
| "Quiet" part, I meant, not "silence." How could it be silent? Oops. | 0 @ 26-06-2004 16:36 laxitivechild12 | 279 posts

this is a great song...it has a lot of emotion just like all Weezer songs....it's definatly one of my favorite songs on Pinkerton | 0 @ 26-12-2005 19:42 Abbyadams | 34 posts
| yeah i was just listening to this song and thinking about the broken english at the beginning and i think the reason why he does that is because that might be how someone form another country (japan) might speak english or that might be how they'd write it down in a letter..just a thought... | 0 @ 08-04-2006 19:40 jbeck22 | 14 posts

To an earlier post asking if this song is a true story:
Ive heard that yes it is, and also that Rivers shares all the royalty checks he gets for this song with the girl in the song. Donno if you should believe the last part, but it probably is true.
My favorite Weezer song, second only to maybe Perfect Situation. Best climax in any song I've heard.
"Oh how I need a hand in mine to feel" - love it |
