 Christophe Willem is currently N°1 in French charts for the singles and Mika also N°1 for the albums. You were warned, summer 2007 is essentially male !
From July 29 to August 4, Mika's album Life In Cartoon Motion sold 27,000 more copies. Grégory Lemarchal and La Voix D'Un Ange sold 21,500 albums. N°3 is Christophe Maé with Mon Paradis and the single "Parce Qu'On Sait Jamais" is released on August 20. N°4 is Michael Bublé with Call Me Irresponsible and 8,900 albums sold. Amy Winehouse is still N°5 this week with Back To Black, but the singer cancelled her tour dates in Norway and Denmark, forced to stay in bed because of "severe exhaustion".
Artists from EMI currently sell their albums at 9,99€. Rose is N°6 with her debut album, including the songs "La Liste" & "Ciao Bella", and 8,450 albums sold. Norah Jones, from the same record company, is N°15 with Not Too Late. The rock band KoRn is N°8 with their new album and 7,800 copies sold.
For the singles, Christophe Willem is currently N°1 for the seventh week with "Double Je" and 13,200 more singles sold. Careful because N°2 is Koxie with "Garçon" (she will release her first album on August 27) and 11,800 singles sold. N°3 is Mika with "Relax Take It Easy". N°4 is the trio Patrick Fiori/Christine Ricol/Jean-Jacques Goldman with "Quatre Mots Sur Un Piano" : it's also the best place for Jean-Jacques Goldman since "À Nos Actes Manqués", N°2 in 1990. David Guetta lost one place and is currently N°5 with "Love Is Gone". Best newcomer is Magic System with their summer anthem "Ki Di Mié" and 5,400 singles sold, currently N°9. N°10 is Julie Zenatti with "Princesse (Tango)" and 4,800 singles sold.
