| The third single from Christophe Willem's new album Prismophonic is "Starlite", that'll be sent to radios next month. He'll perform on May 22 at Paris' Olympia.|
As we could see it, Christophe Willem chose "Starlite" as the third single from his new album. On Tuesday (April 24), the artist said it to the Lille-based radio Metropolys. The song will be sent to radios in May, before his concert on May 22 at Paris' Olympia.
"Starlite" is the opening track from Prismophonic (November 2011) & samples Chaka Khan & Rufus' 1983 single "Ain't Nobody". Willem sings in French but the "ain't nobody" from the choruses are kept. Steve Anderson's arrangements were already present on Alexandra Burke's "Starlight" (2011).

Before the release of Prismophonic, Willem talked about "Starlite" : "While working on the album, Steve Anderson & I were looking for songs. He proposed me Freemasons' melodies, being convinced that this band would bring me good. They proposed 30 different versions of the same song, before getting what we've been looking for. They got into my universe to propose me this track, far from the definitive version of "Starlite". The sample wasn't really present on that version. But I really wanted to hear the sample, so it would fit perfectly" he said.
"Starlite" will be the follow-up of "Cool" & "Si Mes Larmes Tombent". In 2011, the former announced a dance/pop sound & the latter, a piano/voice ballad, sounded like Christophe Willem's "Jacques A Dit" & "Plus Que Tout".
