I mean, I first bought The Silent Force and Sharon's voice is so pure and beautiful in it... And then iI heard the album Mother Earth and I have to say that I don't like it as much as I like TSF.... However, this is one of the best progressive metal songs since its last great peak in Dream Theater's 1999 masterpiece album "Metropolis Pt 2: Scenes from a Memory." So far, this is my favorite song of theirs--great song instrumentally with a great melody and obviously fantastic singing (The Gathering might be sweating that there's another female singer almost as good in the genre now--now we just need a man who's really capable of competing with Geoff Tate). It's only marred by the lyrics, which are decent but not really anything special.
