Yael Naïm - Biography

Yael Naïm was born on February 6, 1978 in Paris, France. Her parents were Jewish & Tunisian. When she was 4, she moved to Ramat-Ha-Sharon, Israel, where she discovered classical music & played the piano. At 18, she founded her first band, the Anti Collision. In 2000, Yael played Miriam in the musical "Les Dix Commandements" & the following year, she signed to Mercury & released her first album In A Man's Womb, that was a failure.
Yael worked with David Donatien & her second album, self-titled, came out on Tôt Ou Tard in 2007. "New Soul" was an international hit & Yael started her promising career. |
