She comes from the label that launched Rose & that recently signed singer Little : Source. Singer Yelle is more & more successful with Mika's first part & also her current N°1, Fatal Bazooka's "Parle À Ma Main".
Yelle's new single, remixed by Tepr Tecktonik, "À Cause Des Garçons", was released yesterday (December 17). In 1987, we only heard them : Laurence & Hélène from the short-lived band À Cause Des Garçons, produced by Alain Chamfort. 20 years later, the French-Britannic Lily Allen, Yelle, covers their 80's song...
The singer, signed on the label Source (Rose, Ours, Naast & Little) released her first album Pop-Up in September 2007, after her Net buzz with "Je Veux Te Voir", her answer to a misogynous song by TTC (Teki Latex's band). Whereas the album sales are low, her audience follows her since Mika chose her to play his first parts in Europe, from Torino to Rimini & also München, Düsseldorf, Copenhagen & Oslo.
Her concert at Paris' Nouveau Casino on December 19 is sold-out, so she added a date at Paris' Bataclan on May 23, 2008. She will also perform in Strasbourg, Clermont-Ferrand, Tours, Poitiers, Montpellier & Perpignan. Dancefloor delirium guaranteed !
