Punk-pop quintet Yellowcard formed in Jacksonville, FL, in 1997 but didn't solidify their lineup until a move to Southern California in early 2000. I sob everytime I hear this song. It reminds me off my Gege who died when I was 8. My dad came into my room at midnight and gave me a green teddy bear. I asked him what it was for and he said "It was the last thing your GeGe touched." I didn't get it at first but then he told me "She went peacefully..." This song is very special to me. It might seem kinda sad, but it reminds me that my Dad's time is next in line. The reason it's comforting is b/c I feel it as my Dad telling me the story. --and that he's part of me and he will live on. I reference it on my myspace page. "Notification of Passing" »
Life Of A Salesman by Yellowcard

I love this song to death. I personally have always thought that they wrote it as a tribute to the Arthur Miller play Death of a Salesman where Biff Loman didn't turn out exactly the way his father had hoped and they don't have the best relationship but he still loves his father. I don't know that's just me =] »
