i love this song! i heard that it was about this town that the band lived in...avondale was a little part of jacksonville, florida. It's about dan from inspection 12...if you look at their song doppelganger they have the lyrics "take your knife out of my back, inventiveness is what you lack"...yellowcard's song is like an answer or something...and i think mighty king of avondale is an analogie for dan, that he was getting too hung up on popularity or something..
