i love this song! i heard that it was about this town that the band lived in...avondale was a little part of jacksonville, florida. It's about dan from inspection 12...if you look at their song doppelganger they have the lyrics "take your knife out of my back, inventiveness is what you lack"...yellowcard's song is like an answer or something...and i think mighty king of avondale is an analogie for dan, that he was getting too hung up on popularity or something..

this is definitely one of the worst yellowcard songs I have heard They have had sooooooo much better! dont really no how uz like it so much. mighty king of avondale? pretty pathetic i think. dont get me wrong i luuuuurve yellowcard just not their best |

| I have never heard this song but I really like Yellowcard's music. LP is one hell of a drummer Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any of Yellowcard's earlier music as I have only ever heard Ocean Ave. and Lights and Sounds. |
