Ysa Ferrer - Biography

Ysa Ferrer was born on June 4, 1972 in Oran, Algeria. She moved to Chambéry, France, when she was 2. She started as a radio hostess in Savoie, then moved to Paris at 18. In 1992, she played Nadia in the TV series "Seconde B". In 1995, she recorded her first demos & signed to Polydor, her debut album D'Essences Naturelles came out & 3 singles were released, "À Coups De Typ-Ex", "109 En 95" & "Ne Me Chasse Pas".
In 1997, she recorded the single "Mes Rêves" & her second album Kamikaze came out. In 1998, she shot the video for "Les Yeux Dans Les Yeux" & in 1999, she released a cover of Secret Service's "Flash In The Night". In 2000, Ysa left Polydor, signed to EMI & released "Mourir Pour Elles", unfortunately unnoticed.
In 2001, her daughter Nova-Louna was born. In 2002, Ysa signed to East West/Warner & released her single/12" vinyl "Made In Japan". Ysa recorded her album Lovarium from 2002 to 2003, but it hasn't been released.
In 2006, her son Orian was born. Ysa founded her own production label, Lovarium. The following year, she played in the gay-friendly film "King Size" & released her single "To Bi Or Not To Bi". On October 6, 2008, her third album Imaginaire Pur came out, including her singles "On Fait L'Amour" & "Sens Interdit", released on single & 12" vinyl. |
